Our team focuses on preventative and conservative care, treating each child how we would treat our own. Our kid-friendly staff and digitized state-of-the-art equipment creates a revolutionary shift in the way we treat our patients.

Meet the Doctors

  • Dr. Chanica Veranunt is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is excited to create a positive dental experience for your child’s specific needs! She has a special interest in preventative dentistry and loves educating parents and patients on how to keep their pearly whites sparkly clean and cavity free! 

    Dr. Veranunt received her dental degree at Loma Linda University and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, after graduating in the top 10% of her class. As a Diplomate, Dr. Veranunt currently holds the highest credential within pediatric dentistry. She treats her patients with the greatest standard of care by staying current and constantly enriching her continuing education with evidenced-based research and applying the best techniques to provide conservative and modern practices for her patients. 

    Upon graduation, Dr. Veranunt completed a two-year specialty training in pediatric dentistry and earned her Masters of Science at the University of Texas in Houston. She received extensive training at Texas Children’s Hospital and Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital, which are located in the heart of the largest medical center in the world. 

    Dr. Veranunt has always had a passion for working with children. When she was in high school, she tutored children with learning disabilities. Dr. Veranunt’s excitement to help young children stemmed from dental mission trips in Nicaragua, Thailand, and the Navajo nations in Arizona. 

    When she’s not caring for tiny smiles, Dr. Veranunt enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants! She is excited to provide quality dental care and to create a blissful dental experience for your child! 

  • Dr. Charlene Veranunt is a general dentist who has a passion for working with children. She knew she wanted to be a dentist since kindergarten. Her mother is a dentist and she has always been such an inspiration to their family; Dr. Veranunt aspired a career in dentistry because she wanted to help others the way her mother did.

    At Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, Dr. Veranunt was involved in community dental care for the surrounding elementary schools. It was then that she realized her passion in children’s dentistry.

    In 2017, Dr. Veranunt moved to El Paso, Texas with her husband, Dr. Cervantes. Her husband was a military dentist and was stationed at Fort Bliss. In El Paso, Dr. Veranunt developed her skills and confidence in children’s dentistry and became certified in pediatric sedation dentistry. In her 3 years in El Paso, she was able to hone her skills in children’s dentistry under the guidance of veteran general dentists and pediatric dentists.

    In 2020, Dr. Veranunt and Dr. Cervantes founded Rosharon Family Dental (a few blocks down from Bliss Pediatric Dentistry!). There, they were able to develop a team of compassionate individuals who have had the opportunity to serve over 4,000 members of the community. Dr. Veranunt is excited to continue her dental journey and dedicating specific days of her week to work with children at Bliss Pediatric Dentistry!

    During her free time, Dr. Veranunt enjoys creating memories with her husband and daughter. On the weekends, their family is most likely enjoying great food with even better company.
